MARTIN'S

"Since I arrived in Ranson 20 years ago, i have shopped at Martins. Throughout the years, it has undergone several remodelings including the most recent ones. I am somewhat disappointed with the new layout. As i enter the store, the candy section is front and center - not exactly an attractive sight. In the fresh fruits and vegetables section, the layout seems disorganized. You find yourself weaving in and out of the shorter sections with other customers which can be a tight squeeze. Also, you have to pay close sttention to the organic vs nonorganic produce. It would be helpful to have more signs clearly indicating the distinction. This new layout may have been a corporate decision and not the local store itself. I still think improvements can be made. Koodos to the store itself for cleanliness and attentive staff."

"We go here as our main grocery store and have always loved the variety, quality, and customer service here. In particular, Jess really hooked me up one morning with discount produce that I would normally not have been able to buy until the very next day. She went out of her way to bag it up for me.
